UBL acquires DB2 Content Manager and CommonStore from Inbox
After successful completion of Digital Pen and Paper platform for simplifying business processes of branch banking at UBL; and signing an Outsourcing agreement for providing support and backup services to the bank, Inbox has signed yet another agreement for upgrading their technology infrastructure through IBM solutions and services.
As per the agreement, UBL has acquired licenses for IBM DB2 Common Store; IBM DB2 Content Manager Enterprise Edition; and IBM DB2 Common Store for Exchange Server. Inbox would provide complete implementation services to UBL for deploying these applications and storage system.
IBMDB2 CommonStore for Exchange Server is the IBM e-mail archive management product for Microsoft Exchange customers, providing e-mail archive content and storage management capabilities. DB2 Content Manager or Content Manager OnDemand serves as the enterprise repository for virtually all content, from documents to images, digital media, and web content and IBM Storage solution covers extensive requirements to expedite the backend systems of UBL. Inbox will also provide IBM Smooth Start Services (installation) for Storage solution along with training options for guiding over proper usage of implemented system.
